No need for headers. It's a turbo back system.

would that really add 60HP?

And for non turbo would the Road Race Exhaust system be the best choice?

so there no other pipes out of the engine for the exhaust other than the down pipe... so the down pipe connects strait to the engine??

I have this full Racing Beat exhaust. It's goes from the turbo all the way out. All rotary specialists compliment it saying it's great. Just so you know- mine is pretty darn silent. No droning at all. With my K&N I do have increased boost and you absolutely need to make sure fuel delivery is increased and tuned. I just dynoed today but I'm running very lean, so I can't confirm horsepower gains just yet.

Clarification time.

The turbo-back exhaust is from the turbo....to the mufflers. The "header"(turbo manifold) on the engine is only changed when upgrading to a bigger turbo, so don't worry about that.

The system WILL require you to port the turbo wastegate, and get additional fuel support (pump, injectors, ECU, etc).

The road race exhaust system is the best for NA, with stock and very moderate streetports. A mid-scale, or large/agressive streetport, bridgeport, peri port, etc..would want a collected header for maximum power. ALTHOUGH, none of this is truly "proven", it is all purely speculation by our glorious community.

I for one like to point at the TOP FUEL dragsters. They make ~6000rwhp, run sub-3 second quarter miles, and yet have NO COLLECTION, it is just 8 single exhaust pipes coming out. I'd figure, if it was better to collect, they would do it. But...they don't .....
