Exhaust question

I plan to replace my exhaust manifold. My old manifold became warped after my converter's became clogged. I guess it was too much pressure on the exhaust manifold and gasket. Anyway, here's my question...is it common to use sealant when replacing the exhaust mainfold and gasket? if so...what brand of sealant do you recommend, and will it make it difficult to get the gasket off at a later time?

No sealant, just use a metal gasket, It gets way to hot for any sealant. And make sure you torque it to spec.

I hope so, cuz I'm starting to smell exhaust fumes inside the car. I'm just assuming it's coming in through the weak area in the manifold!!!!
