Does anybody have an estimate on how much of a power increase a new exhaust system plus intake will make? specifically a bonez superflow cat, hs 50mm catback, and bonez cold air intake.

 

My guess would be 7-10 rwhp

 

Not as much as you would prolly like, especially with that cat. To the wheels? I would say maybe 10hp.

 

Yeah the HKS 50MM cat back for the NA is supposed to add about 5%, the cat itself shouldn't make that much difference, other than if you current cat has more than 60-90K miles on it, then you'll see a noticeable increase.

 

is that even worth the $1100 dollars it is going to cost me to buy? i was also considering porting the engine, would this give a better gain for the exhaust? if not im going to have to find myself a turbo II for my speed needs.

 

Well you will seemost of your gains from removing all the cats. A header will add a few horsies as well. Then just get some universal mufflers you like and have a shop custom pipe it all. With the streetport you will need to open up the exhaust to see the gains really.
