Exhaust Manifold Leak.......

I've found a real nice 10AE I'm wanting to buy on autotrader... And I've emailed the guy about this, and will probably call him to go check it out soon.. But it was too late last night and today is one of my busiest days for when it comes to college stuff....

He says: "Exhaust----Stock, leak at exhaust manifold"

I was gonna ask him if he knew where this leak was... But in case he doesn't know / because I'm impatient ( ) does anyone have ideas about what all this could be the cause of and what could be done to fix it?

A friend of mine that I was talking to about the car says that there's a possibility that it could just be a gasket...

I know there's not really enough information here... But am just looking for possibilities as to what the leak could be from so that I can think about what to do ahead of time

Thanks....

Could be just a gasket, the manifold could be cracked as well.... turbo housing could be cracked...

More then likely the gasket between the turbo and manifold has blown out. This is normally due to cracks in the manifold (very common).

Yeah, I'm gonna try to haggle it down a few hundred due to the leak and stolen stereo system

Don't think I'd want to take semi long drives w/o being able to listen to some kind of music.... Heh.

With a 10AE, I would listen to my exhaust and turbo all day long if I could.
