Exhaust leak..how, and what does it effect the car perofrmance????
Well i don't have any exhaust leak but i don't have anything @ all after the main cat lol...took it out for a ride lastnight with Turbo ECU ( i have ton's of problem..til i find out i have NA ECU in my TII LOL)
everythings runs great..very little to almost none
boost hesitation..
1st &2nd gear i'm getting 5PSI max around 5k rpm pull really hard...
then 2-3psi on 3rd gear which make me feel slow..
and MPG is still very bad...100-120 per full tank..
can it be cos i don't have any exhaust piping?? or WHAT IS UR OPINION?????

An exhaust leak on a N/A will result in increased engine temps, and decreased power, because of the exhaust trying to get out the first spot it can, and reducing the exhaust volocity because of that.
And exhaust leak on a Turbo won't matter as much, but there will still be a slight change in HP, because of exhaust volocity.
A major leak (such as removed parts) will probably give quite a decent increase in HP on a Turbo as long as there is still sufficent length to allow some build up of exhaust volocity.

hey loofy, glad to hear that ECU i sold ya is working well for you..... and fixed some of your problems, a exhaust leak usually wont hurt anything too much as long as its after the O2 sensor..... i would get an exhaust on there....as for the fuel consumption, thats anyones best guess, kinda hard to tell you why your gettin bad fuel mileage, if you have a aftermarket pump tho it will load the car with fuel because of upped fuel pressure.
