exhaust leak fixed, new problem now :(

well i found the big *** leak problem i had before. story: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=148657

it was the cat, i took it off and removed that cheap *** meatel around it to discover that all four corners of it had split (becarefull with the stuff in between the 2 metels, don't remeber the name of it but it causees cancer if u breath it in) there r two things u can do: 1. get it welded back together. 2. (this is the one i did) get a test pipe made.
now i have no exhaust leaks at all exhaust tone changed, car dosen't not back fire (unless its at 6.5k on up) and this is not everytime just random.
but new problem now is tht it feels like i lost some power through out the power band, what gives? though test pipe would either keep the same hp, or encrease it

-Shawn (I love the was my exhaust sounds now, just waiting on some money for a cat back)

And it feels slower because a free flowing exhaust reduces back pressure = less low end torque, but more top end.

-Shawn (now it sounds like it is coming from the manifold )
