Exhaust Help

So I drive an 89 GXL, mainly stock, and I want to get a full exhaust system (header, high-flow cat/pre-silencer, exhaust)

I just wanna know what would be the best combo for an N/A.

I def. want as much power as possible, and sound is also key, what sounds the best, not too loud but aggressive sounding. I want to cruise without the over powering sound of my exhaust, but when I get on it, I want her to scream! Also, saving cash would be nice, so racing beat is almost out of the question. Maybe just the header, I just don't wanna spend $1200 for an exhaust system.

Any help would be great, thanx guys!

racing beat header is the way to go no doubt, and even though you dont wanna pay for them, theyre still considered the best by most

if you're looking for cheap but still want power and sound, then corksport

in my opinion if you want the best sound for your FC, go will duel Apex'i N1s... my opinion they look and sound the best.

by the way this thread has been started about 100 times, if you search you might be able to find the one you're looking for

I did look, but most topics were for TIIs, and was thinkin about corksport, and all I could find was the 80mm exhaust system (3 1/8 in) Thats for turbo, do they make a smaller exhaust for the non-turbo? Cause I'd imagine losing power with an exhaust that big!
