Exhaust Gaskets

Hey guys. Just a quick question today. I was wondering if custom paper gaskets would be okay for my new custom exhaust. The plan would be to make one for the header, one for the flange from the header to the presilencers, and then one more from the presilencers to the mufflers. I figured they'd work, I just don't know because the EGT is so hot.

My guess would be not a chance! Why not just go to PartSource and get proper exhaust gaskets? They are about $2.50 each.

I use Racing Beat gaskets in my custom exhaust. If you're going to go through the trouble of a custom exhaust, why not get the best gaskets available?

NO...(shakes finger) Advance auto has and can get the exhaust gaskets you need. They are reasonably priced as well
