exhaust and fmic questions
hello!
as i am living in europe, please excuse i am not used to common us-rx7 knowledge.
these cars are pretty rare here in austria. my car is a rx7 turbo II (181 hp).
which exhaust systems are available for it, and which are good?
i cant have a too loud exhaust here.
which fmic kits are bolt in and which need fabrications.
which parts can be recommended? where can i look for them.
and last question.. found out my car is refered as a "zenki" rx7.
what does the word zenki and kouki mean? other than the refer to the 86-88 or 89-92 cars.
thanks a lot
martin

If you want a quiet exhaust that has a great power gain go for the Racing Beat turboback exhaust @ www.racingbeat.com you may have a hard time getting them to ship it to you though or it'll be very expensive.
For FMIC the greddy kit is pretty much bolt in which requires some cutting but not too difficult at all. (if you search for greddy install with my username you'll find my write up concerning this). many places have them check www.froogle.com for some good pricing.
Nothing else to really read into with zenki and kouki. Just japanese terminology for earlier and later.

thanks a lot for answering my questions that fast. i really appreciate that.
will need some more hints in the next future i guess. and it seems i have to import most of the parts. maybe i make a list what i need and then try to get it all shipped in one box. but i think i wont find a shop which carries all pars on my list.
but i guess i will be ending up building the exhaust myself. as i think shipping will be as much as the exhaust...
