Exhaust ASAP

I am doing my exhaust on my 86 RX-7 and bought a catback that doesnt fit properly so I was just wondering if I need to buy a header as the stock manifold points towards the ground or if I just need to buy RBs downpipe?

Uhh...the manifold has absolutely nothing to do with a catback. The cat is in the same position no matter whether you have a header or the stock manifold..

well there you go...you get what you pay for.

The Racing beat headers, and down pipes are actually bout 1 1/2 inches short of meeting up to to the cat location.

So if you are already short, you would only be even shorter using a RB downpipe or header

Well actually when I bought the car the headerback to the catback was all jerry rigged, and the aftermarket catback is the3 same length as the stock so technically I can use the 'redneck testpipe' that came on it couldnt I?
