Would you go as far to say it is the loudest of all, or no?

I bought the N1 and did tons of research before buying the N1. Basically the GT is bigger, louder, flows more, is completly Stainless steal, but is more expensive and hard to get. The only reason i ended up with the N1 was because the GT was always outa stock and i needed an exause asap cuz my car had no exaust. If you can find it or be patient enough and also have the cash get the GT its worth the money.

On a side note Jason @ rx7store.net has the best price i could find for these exausts

i like my gt spec.. it doesn't sit as tight in the rear cut out as it shows in that pic(didn't have the downpipe on) and it seems to shoot nice little fireballs..

I never liked the look of singles, but that GT does look nice. Do they make a dual setup at all?

If you want a large single exhaust that is REALLY LOUD (I don't know why you would) go w/ the JIC Magic Spec 90.

It is a Stainless cat back that is over 3 1/2" pipe diameter ALL the way (incorporates a little bolt in section to adapt to stock/stock replacement exhausts). It only has the main straight through muffler cannister- no pre-muffler like the Apex'i N1 and GT.

If you want it EVEN LOUDER (oh God, why?) and you have provisions to avoid boost creep (please research this if you aren't positive!) you can buy the JIC Magic Spec 90 3 1/2" turbo downpipe/cat replacement pipe.

Then you have full 3 1/2" stainless turbo back exhaust incorporating just one straight through muffler at the very end. It is incredibly loud w/ out the "silencer" insert and still quite loud w/ the insert.

I bought my Spec 90 turbo back from Rishie (ARD T2) on this forum. He is awsome to deal with.

I'm not sure what I paid for the JIC Spec 90 since I bought it in a bigger JIC Magic order from Rishie. His prices and service are awsome though.

I do remember it was very comparable in price to the Apex'i stuff- and more race focused.

PM/e-mail Rishie (ARD T2) for a quote- and smile .

BTW, I had initially bought the rare JDM discontinued Knight Sports turbo back dual (two 3" SS pipes right off the turbo to 2 presilencers to 2 mufflers), but it never made it to me. That would have been much quiter and stock looking.... It actually gets my vote for best "off the shelf" FC exhaust- if only it was still on the shelves

the loudest would be to run a 4 inch downpipe then 4 inch pipe to the rear and have no muffler

Actually loudest would be just running a downpipe. It would be alot lighter than any other system IMO!!

Ok, how about run a 4" downpipe out the passenger side, turn up, and then turn again straight into the passenger side window and stop about 2" from your head...bet that would be loud.

How could the single GT outflow the N1 dual? I think your reasoning is a little off. That being said, I do have the N1 and for the price I would expect at least full SS. I think the Apex is way over priced. If I had it to do over again, I would buy something other than the Apex for less money and better quality. Also, most of the tests in the mags on different Apex exhausts (You know they mostly do Civics and other junk) always seem to place mid-pack and cost the most. Like I said, overpriced.

Actually, I've found both sytems to be cheaper on another website. The shipping costs are also in the $40-$60 dollar range. Awesome deal!

I received my GT-Spec in the mail yesterday.
