How loud are your exhausts with downpipe, testpipe, in your car with the windows up and driving around 70mph?

 

What gear? My S5 GXL with a racepipe w/precilencer and a N1 single w/ silencer isn't all that loud. However, when I go fooling around I take the silencer and the thing sounds like a sooped up weedwacker. Mine sounds cool because of the intake but oh well. I too don't get much into 5th so I am usually close to redline in 4th and 3rd. Crazy stuff us Initial D wannabees.

 

5th gear. Its usually pretty loud in the car with my radio up too.

 

the HKS cat backs are pretty loud. my friend has a bonez 2.5" downpipe, high flow cat, and hks cat back and it's way louder then my full 3" racing beat with no cat. my car is very quiet with the windows up.

I have RB headers, midpipe and the HKS 50mm Sport and at WOT outside the car it is very loud, but the tone is sweet. Inside the car everything is tollerable, but cruising at 3000-4000 in 5th the resonation is on the verge of intollerable. But, at 2800, it is pretty soothing. I about fell asleep a few times

I have a 3" down and mid pipe going into a Apexi N1 Dual cat back and its not that loud at all, it was the first day or two I drove it but now I want it to be louder.
