If you have to pass emissions and save $, then collected header to highflow cat to single muffler.

Man I would love duals but being in Cali.. it's not gonna happen.. I'm afraid to even put a header on there... Why can't RB get that biach CARB certified.. besides the fact that it replaces a cat ;-)

For the guy that said more weight = better: No. For the few extra hp the true dual would give you over a single, its not worth the extra weight IMHO.
And CARB is the biggest joke I have EVER seen.

No ****.. Why would one header be exempt and another not be.. except that one company didn't stuff money into CARBs pockets..
I think a class action is long overdue

i put the borla cat back on my convertible because it is stainless, and i live by the ocean.
i bought it from summit racing which was cheaper than anyone else by a lot!
the car is stock (k&N air filter, but that doesnt count). the bottom end is gone, but top end is awesome. i have to remind myself to keep the car a gear lower than i keep my 944s2. takes a few minutes to go back and forth between cars.
the system looks stock, isnt much louder than stock, and doesnt sound ricey. it was a relatively quick bolt on job.
why doesnt anyone else use borla?

I would take it to a muffler shop and have some pipes bent to fit it. Should not cost you more than 200 dollers. If it does your going to the wrong shop. I got duels put on my pickup for 120 with 2 glasspacks and 2 echo chambers.

The set-up I am going to use when I get my motor done will be a RB header collected to a Magnaflow Cat to a Borla XR-1 and finishing with the corksport Generic mufler.
Everyone tells me this will be loud but I don't mind since I have a motorcycle with a race pipe on it.

i think the borla was about 600 to the door from summitracing in 2000. give them a call, they are cheaper than anyone on just about any part, and the shipping is something like 10 for every order.
