I bought one for my na s5. The clutches are ok, but I wouldn't trust the pressure plates, the one I had broke 2 fingers off it within the first 1k miles.

Mazda OEM is Exedy, so they should be fine.

Just stay away from XTD and F1 clutches.

Search for XTD, there are numerous problems. Even if you get a 'good' one they don't last long.

my buddy arthur has been rocking a f1 clutch for a while and it's held up two years worth of drift events, probably about 10-15 events per season.

as for exedy ebay, i personally ran an exedy oem replacement clutch kit off ebay on my 240sx for about 3 years with no problems.

I was "told" that the exedy kits on ebay are throw backs.. they are good to use but they are of a lower quality thus why they get them so cheap and can sell them for so cheap...

I love the ACT or SPEC clutches or an Exedy kit (direct from Exedy)

Have you tried replacing your clutch line and bleeding your clutch system? If you have, you may want to look into getting a clutch with a heavier duty pressure plate, Like the ACT HD series of clutch kits. I noticed a significant (read, good)increase in pedal effort. They are pricey but seem to last forever (I have had the same one on two different engines)!

XTD are junk, i toasted their stage 2 clutch at stock n/a power levels with just spirited daily driving, i since rplaced it with an f1 spec clutch, and HUGE difference its got a nice stiff PP and smooth engnement, holds great however, for the TII i'm building, ACT is what i have ready to go in

Stock Car, Stock Clutch. Unless you planning on making some power mods down the road don't get any more clutch then you need.
