Excessive Smoke and High Idle Update
Appologies again for the attitude. Just frustrated. Well a little more information.
Previously reported excessive, massive smoke out exhaust, out of the blue, at start up recently. Also, RPM at start up to almost 6000. 1990 Manual NA vert, read more threads and post as suggested. Thought maybe seals. Removed EGI fuse, cranked engine 2 or 3 seconds. Pulled leading plugs, no oil, no coolant. As far as radiator, no bubbles, no prob with overflow. Working on idle at TPS, BAC, cleaned throttle body, valves, etc. Very minumal carbon build up. Just Informed that before I purchased the vehicle, which was real recent, previous owner added Lucas Oil stop smoke. Could this have something to do with it now smoking excessively? Im at a loss. Pressure test on radiator cap ok, checked, I think, every vacuum line, most all new, no cracks etc. Throttle I think I can manage. Just the smoke that is killing Me. Any ideas more would be much appreciated.
