Fully warm the engine up and idle it. Then go to the variable resistor and note exactly where the screw is at that point in time. Now slowly turn it to the right/clockwise while listening to the engine. I believe you'll find a lot of the *misses* will stop.
Just trying to say at idle it's usually due to a lean condition. A too lean condition.

Who did the Tune up?..I have a Suggestion,Besides the Variable resistor(which is right by the air box..it looks like an EYE shaped Thingie, and has a screw in the middle of it)..Check your Trailing Wires..actually Check all the Spark Plug wires..Lok at the Leading Coil(front coil by headlight).the wires should go to the Lower Plugs..It Does NOT matter which PLUG..they Fire at the same time,so you can Mix those wires up.as Long as they are on the Bottom plugs..the TRAILING COIL(which is on the driver's Side, close to the Brake Booster). Those wires have to go to Specific Locations..the FIRST Trailing Plug wire goes to the FRONT of the engine tO the TOP Spark Plug..The Second Trailing Plug wire obviously goes to the Rear of the Engine,Top Plug....If those Trailing plugs were Mixed up.your car would Buck and Chugg, and Miss,ETC..and when you try to drive it..woah!..that is another story..Backfire,Chugging,Bucking,,Fartin',snortin' ,..ETC!..anyhow..Lets see if that Helps you out,BEFORE you go Touching the variable resistor...Good luck..STYX.
