TII Stalling Issue, Please Help

I have an 88 Turbo II, rebuilt streetported engine with between 6 and 7 thousand miles. I have an RTEK 1.5 ECU, a Walbro 255lph pump, 3 inch intake and exhaust, and a series 5 turbo/manifold. Car has ran great for the longest time, but it has started an annoying problem. It will stall out while I'm driving (once up to temp), and then sometimes it acts like its flooded and has trouble starting again, other times it starts up okay, sometimes it starts up and dies immediately. While I'm cranking, I can't always hear the walbro whining, and as soon as it flips on the car starts. It smells terribly rich, and it used to smell a little rich before but now it is very strong, and I'm getting noticeably worse gas mileage. The O2 (stock narrowband) gauge reads lean most of the time while its cranking and idling, but still smells rich. The car runs strong and pulls good vacuum, so I doubt it is a compression problem. It seems like an electrical problem, but I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas/input?

Thanks guys

re-do all grounds, re-wire the fuel pump, check that your injectors aren't stuck / dirty, check the ECU.
