Thumbs up EVO-R RX-7 FC3C on Air Suspension

Check out my FC vert on air suspension. These are not like air runner or universal air, which design of their bags makes the car too soft. bags are directly on top of the high low kit like most highend coilovers. You can adjust the front camber plate and also hard/soft. check out some video:

Saw a similar suspension setup on a WRX for one of the Touge showdowns...they said a stock car handled better.

I just had it done, don't have a chance to run it on track yet. But here is a video of their Mini with same suspension setup.

I commend the work, ingenuity, and time that went into it. Just don't like the look of it/idea of it on an RX.

Pretty cool. Do you have any pictures of the sleek projector headlights you sell installed on a car? Interested to know how they would look. Also, no pricing information on your website for the air suspension or pictures of the components.

Not sure this kit is a good market for FC. I'm not trying to sale them. Just want to show it to all. Cuz this kit retails about $3800. You can almost buy another FC with that. But I love my FC so money goes into it. hehe...

Is it an air strut or air bag? Electric air pump or belt driven? I had an S10 with air bags. A dip in the road would send me rebounding from the squishEness. Handled like a lowrider. It was cool for a pickup, but I would definitely not recommend it for a car.

I like the idea that you can ride low and go up to clear speed bumps when needed.

yeah, thats the only plus i guess..
just dont like the idea of adding even more weight to an already heavy vert.
the compressor usually makes a lot of noise too
and ride quality would maybe be ok for granny-driving a normal car, but def. not for a sportscar

if you didnt have ac on the the car you could always use the factory ac compressor to pressurize a tank to control the shocks. all you would have to do is put a filter on the suction side and the route the high pressure side to your tank. Put the compressor on a switch and flip it on when you need air.

hey dude do you know that you can only put 16s on rx7s, and your not suppose to do any type of cosmetic enhancement to it or you ruined a perfectly stock FC. Nah just kidding! A vert probably wouldnt be an ideal first choice for a road racer so why not. It is nice to have a custom car that is visually pleasing.

Love it! first time Ive seen those Eastbear headlights look good. I wish people here where more open minded about cosmetic mods. People are kind of **** about it.. Not only is this car looking good, it keeps the FC out there in the spot light instead of tiring old cars.

That bag over coilover set up i hear is pretty good. Theres alot of guys who drift on that setup.

That would work for about 20 seconds before the compressor failed due to lack of lubrication.
