Evil 2nd gen offer - should I take it?
I'm flying up to Michigan in June to help my parents move and my friend in Toledo casually asks me to buy his 87 n/a and drive it back to Arizona.
He is Satan and I am tempted.
It has 110k miles on it and he's offering it for $2k. It has new tires and a 50mm catback from rx7.com. I know not much else about it other than that it runs well and has very few physical blemishes.
Should I take it? I'll have a freaking yard full of rotaries.

I certainly will use and enjoy it. This is the same person who first introduced me to rotaries a few years ago, via another similar 2nd gen that he wrecked.
I'll probably get rid of the FD if I pick up this one. I've enjoyed working on it and learning about it, but ultimately the turbo issues are too much of a headache for me at this time.

1) Daily driver
2) Wife's daily driver
3) Project car for which I'm in over my head
4) More manageable project car
I don't see the problem.

Yo,
You wouldn't be the firs to go from an FD to an FC. *grin* Talk to CYMFC3S here.
I'd say go for it! Loose the Funds Dumpster and get an FC!

You must want it or else you wouldnt have posted about it. Just buy it!! You now you want it! And besides Fc's are becoming poplular in my area so if you decide not to keep it it wont be hard to sell.
