ever tried the cheap Autozone shockes?

My shocks are beyond bad. with every bump the whole car lurches to the left. I am flat busted due to my Explorer arguing with me last week. So I was thinking of installing a set of those Gabreal (sp) shocks from Autozone. They are only $30 for the rear. I didn't look up the front yet.
So anyway, what do you think. is it worth the trouble? or should I wait a couple of months and not drive her?

I think some adjustable AGX are like 60. Just buy one and get others as you can

They've got to be better than blown shocks.

Get the gabriels... my TII came with them on the rear (the person i bought it from was a brokeass like yourself, but tried her best to take care of it) they won't last as long as others, but for 60 bucks for two shocks... get 'em.. cause you aint going to wait to drive the 7!!!!! then chuck 'em on e-bay for 15 bucks for the set when you get good ones!!!!

Good advice...or just sell them to some other broke person on THESE forums when you are done with them!

kinda throws the old "do it right once" out the window. Last I checked it was a pain in the *** to swap these out. Ah well it never ceases to amaze me what FC owners will do if given the chance to save a couple of bucks but end up being a huge pain in *** in a week. I am suprised no one said to get one from a junk yard or gave another car in the junk yard that run the same struts. Here is the big question! Are you paying a shop to install this?

first off the agx's aren't 60 per shock. second anything that works is better than anything that doesn't. as someone who has driven a car with blown rears, for 30 bucks each i'd just gettem for now.

They arent THAT hard to do. Just rent the tools you need that you dont have from autozone.

The right tools ALWAYS makes the job easier.
