Ever see this spoiler before?

Check out this FC I saw and took pics of today. Glass sunroom and a spoiler that wraps completely around the hatch!?

Can anyone tell me if they have ever seen it before and what option package this was from mazda?

I think it's the Mazda Finish Line aero package. It's in the archive "What did my fc come with?" -Jeromy

That's some rare parts! I know a guy who is missing a side piece from his aero kit. I know for a fact he would be willing to pay good money for that piece!

FYI: The "Sport package wing" does not wrap around the hatch. The spoiler at the top of this thread is from the Mazda Finish Line series.

What blue coop said was correct. It isnt the ''aero-package'' found mostly on 87-88 gxl's. The aero package spoiler does nor wrap around the entire hatch like that. I got one from a 87 gxl for my s5 vert, cut the little screw studs off and from timr to time i use 2-sided tape to put it on for a few days. It actually looks good.

Btw i do have the mud gaurds that go in front of the rear tires if anyone is interested in them. Or i can sell the spoiler too w/ the mud gaurds. They are in great shape and can post pics if anyonr is interested.

I think I have that spoiler. I have a TII but my spoiler is black on a blue car and I am pretty sure the TII wings were a little higher, body colored, and din't say "MAZDA" on them (these may apply to the S5 TIIs only I am used to seeing in many video games and a couple pics on this site). SO um...... what do I have? An S4 TII with a GXL's aero package? (I have the TII mirrors and the scooped hood and and the turbo badging. Also it does have the Turbo and TMIC (duh) but I am talking exterrior only. So um.......... what's up with my car? Edit: I am really stupid. I was assuming that when you said around entire hatch, you meant like it went all around the bottom (I know the wangans do but I thought you meant it went a little further) This one goes up and over the hatch. Looks nice. (excuse my stupidity)

yeah thats one i have never seen either. I dont know if its a package deal or maybe a aftermarket mazda spoiler. If i am correct, i believe mazda trix used to sell those years ago.
Yeah 87 you have the correct wing for yours. The old s4 t2 spoilers are exactly what you described. But man thats a real old school wing! I would get it just for the rareness factor.

it also looks cool despite the fact that about 68% of it is pointless. I like the Rx7 embroydery (sooo spelled wrong, well probably) it also would add good contrast to black S4 trim, black S4 tailight and lisence plate trim, and with black wheels on a light colored car, it would look really nice (like my car's blue, silver, white, or a red or yellow)

but yeah, you buying it would have ot be for rareness. If you could rig it work with your vert, it would look pretty cool as a roll bar. (that sounds a bit like permantent dropped top show car kinda stuff)

a good bit of work though...

The spoiler in the pics I provided is half destroyed as seen in the photo. The car is an automatic and looks to be another rotting away FC (judging by the condition it was in) Should I find out who owns it to possibley find a new home for it? The interior appeared to be in excellent condition. (maroon)

What should I do? Buy it and part it, buy it and sell, or just forget about it?

Haven't parted an fc out in awhile. Would help pay for the mods on the TII I just bought instead of tapping into my cash.
