The evasive dynomax cat-back price. Has it ever been seen?

I just searched for a good 20minutes here trying to find a price on the Dynomax cat-back system for the non-turbo RX-7s. What is the price of it? I've had dynomax on the past and like them a lot so I may go with these guys.

Also, if I call them up can I just ask for the "catback for a 1988 RX-7 non-turbo?" or will I need a part number. If so what is it?

Thanks for any help. I know I could just call but when I call a company I always get pressured into buying.

I thought these things were discontinued?&nbsp RP used to sell them rebadged as their "own" cat-backs, but with fancy ceramic coating on them, but last I heard they were not being made anymore for a few years now...

Nope, Ted. I emailed Dynomax a few weeks ago, asking if they had any straight-through 3" I/O component mufflers, and they responded (essentially) "Thank you for asking, yes we have a catback for the 89 Turbo RX-7"

All ya gotta do is call or email them. http://www.google.com is your best friend.

Gee, that's not a nice thing to say...
I don't go around telling everything I can get better prices than they can because I got a hook-up...

True, True.
Sorry about that.
But in a roundabout sort of way, your are bragging about your discounts
I get my discount from a major supplier, so it can't be that great. I am surprised your prices are so high. The retailors must make quite a bit of money on these systems.

Speaking of cat back exhausts....
If I put one on my car, what will I have to do to make sure my backpressure activated 5/6th ports continue to function.
Particularly, if I take my cats out as well, I wont' be making enough back pressure to activate them. What do I have to do, and how much will it cost me??!!

Thanks for the help

try the how-to section under www.FC3s.org, its a good write up, or do a search.
Both would be better than anything I can explain.

There's a rebate on Dynomax systems right now:

Here's a place that sells them (ableit a little pricey):

Retails prices on those things were about $200 to $250 US, so I don't see it being that expensive.
