Euro-spec wiring question
I have recently received a set of e-spec s5 tail lights to mount on my convertible. Unfortunatly, the wiring harnesses did not come with them as I expected. The left side harness is the same as every other s5 convertible, but the right side is not. I know that the socket for the euro "running" light is slightly different then the back-up light socket on a USDM version. I can modify that as needed. But how is it wired differently? Does it turn on with the marker lights or only with the headlights? Or is it an accessary, triggered from the ignition to be on whenever the key is on(daytime running)?
Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
There is normally a rear fog light on most euro lights that is wired to a seperate switch. I am sure this is what you mean.
It is not a marker light, but rather a bright Red light, (as bright as a stop/brake light) that you switch on in foggy conditions to help prevent being rear ended.

Ahhh....very good Icemark. That is exactly what I am talking about. Would this be connected to the factory fog light switch in the center console(seams logical)? What size bulb would you recommend using?
