Check the auxillary injection section for performance.
In terms of withstanding the mix, it's a bit corossive. The owner's manual says you shouldn't use more than 10%, and a lot of gasoline brands are already 8-10% ethanol. People in the aux injection section only have to worry about alcohol in their engine, not the fuel system. Even then the engine gets pitted on the inside from the corossion. Probably applies to piston engines too. I'm sure there are ways to protect against or at least reduce corossion for engines specifically designed to burn E85.

i think its "riceracing " in the turbo forum that is making some good power on E85. check it out. i don't remember if he had any how to's on how to convert your car to run E85. i know that you need bigger injectors and fuel pump ect...
