Hmm. I've got an 87 T2, and my car certainly doesn't bog down when it first starts. Feels like I've got plenty of power across the whole RPM band. No "turbo lag" where it goes from no power to sudden power. I would say you probably have to check out your car, like everyone else says.

the reason you cant spin the tires in your 7 is because of weight distribution...just think about it. when you drop your clutch in the accent they just spin because all your weight shifts to the back and the tires have no weight on them. the 7 being rwd makes this weight shift a lot stronger and a lot more weight shifts to right over those rear wheels making it very hard to spin them. its a simple concept...just think about it

simple concept yes, but he should be able to burn the **** out of his tires. . do you drive a 7? if you did you would know this.

yes thats true, but thats is under BOOST, if the boost is not up no power is made.....dump that bitch at 5k, end of story

BTW, the car I'm talking about has a 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back with no catalyst. Also has an HKS mushroom type air filter. We're also dealing with boost creep...but I know how to deal with that.

Super charger is too costly, but I agree with you on the benefits. What's this about leads? You're saying grounding will make the turbo spool faster??
