Question Enhanced Performance

How can I increase the performance of my 88 Rx7 Convertable? What would one suggest, my ride is currently 99% stock.

Thanks for the help.

Yeah samps setup will do pretty good

Stage I is usually performance catback exhaust, performance catalytic converter, convertible specific downpipe, cold air box (I like the one from www.mariahmotorsports.com), cold air intake, stamped headlight air scoop (more cold air to the intake).

Stage II is replacement chip, minor engine port, better ignition system, stronger clutch (assuming it's not an automatic), and parts of samp's list.

Stage III can be forced induction, lightweight flywheel, pullies, drivetrain mods, gearing mods, etc...

It helps to have:
- a decent paying job
- no wife
- no kids
- no cocain habit
- another car (or two, hehe)
- and a family member that used to be a mechanic and has every tool known to man (good ol gram-pa).

I also have one of those cover-it garages they sell in the back of car and driver. I paid $700 for mine then two weeks later they went on sale for four something. I almost went postal. The garage is awesome if you don't have another option and you have so much money invested that you can't stand the thought of dust getting on your 7.

I bough a small-mid house with a 2 car garage for a reason

Do you also go googly JUST from the garages of the wealthy on Car & Driver TV "I could use a 8 car garage with full lift, dyno, paint shop, and shop area."

I usually get more excited to see a huge garage then a huge house. What good is a big house? A big garage has numerous possibilities....hehehe
