Jack the front of the car up.

Put it in neutral

Pull the small wire on the starter off, the one that attaches to a Blade.

Either use a screwdriver or better a piece of electrical wire with both ends bare, touch the blade on the starter with one end and then the other end of the wire touch the large electrical connector on the starter.

The starter should turn over when you did that.. If the car was NOT in neutral .....you won't be writting back on this forum for a while.

Write back with the results.

My car sometimes acts up and will just click once when I try to turn it over or everything seems to die, like it is shorting out or something, I disconnect the blade as hailers said, then plug it back in, usually it starts to turn over right away.
