Engine wont crank :(

my 88 gxl wont crank, but when I turn the key to the crank position, it brings up almost every warning signal, beeps a few times, then has a long buzzer. the water pump has also just been replaced prior to me buying this one, could someone please lemme know what might cause this problem??

i know there is a water level sensor or something that made the buzzing noise for my car but i could still start it. check the plug behind the water pump green plug , small plug coming out of your rad, oil sending unit on your rear plate (i had one no start because of this) or your starter wires

I also forgot to mention that when you turn the key to the on position, it just clicks once, not like how a starter does. a specialist said he thought it would be the main relay or the cpu, i've swapped the main relay already and still nada. just trying to figure out whats stopping it from cranking.....

1) check your engine bay fuses
2) verify good battery charge
3) visually check wiring/ connections at starter
4) what does the water pump have to do with starting?

when you try to start the car it clicks? this may sound stupid but make sure your battery cables are good and the connection isnt dirty. jiggle them a little and see if it starts
