Engine turns but will not start

the starter is turning the engine but not turning over the plugs fire did the unfuldding prosedure and it still wont start we pulld one plug it had spark you can smell gas there is little smoke comeing out of the exuast ....any help
Time to do a Compression check to see if the engine is good or not. ALso try using pre-mix oil(two stroke) in the spark plug holes to help build compression for it to start up.
You can find a compression tester at Autozone for 15-30 dollars. All you have to do is hold down the pressure releif valve so it reads all three pulses.
