Angry Engine Teardown, What Can I do?

AHHHHHHHHHHHH I hate this site sometmes, I write up a HUGE post, hit submit and I get a "WEBSITE NOT RESPONDING PROMPT" Ohhhhhh I'm pissed.
Anyway I''ll try an remeber what I type the 1st time.
I blew my S5 Jspec. In the month and a half it takes to save up the money for a new one, I want to do as many free mods and maintence things I can do(these will reqiure $ obviously). I already planned on getting all new vacuum lines, sending my injectors to be cleaned. But now I'm wondering what else can I do. Should I clean my TB with Carb cleaner(or is this a 6 port n/a only thing??), port my wastegate?, get new various gaskets. I have this brand new waterpump housing sitting around should I bolt that on or just use my exsiting one(70k) and sell this new one. What is th TID mod? Please give me som feedback. editted.. items for sale belong in for sale section
.(okay, i'm sorry, but you can't blame me for trying"
"I'm only breaking it down, 'cause you be breakin the rules/ Yo, I love P-funk, I'm from the old school...."

As the canuck says, port everything, clean it, TB mod, block of the powerstereing, ditch the air conditioning/etc, rip the dash out and pull out all the useless junk behind there, remove the radio, get that car down to about 2400lbs and fly!

All of it. Basically if its bolted to the motor you can take it off (few exceptions to that).

Leave the intakes and the fuel rails, pretty much everything else goes.

Take all the manifolds, turbo, emissions crap, sensors and oil pan off. Then set the engine on its back and start unstacking the engine. I think haynes has a brief chapter on engine tear down.
