I'm surprised noone mentioned the oil pump chain. I would replace it, if it breaks, your toast. then again, I'm pretty new at this and I have not heard of one breaking. My pilot bearing felt like total crust, so I reused it anyway. Then again, if it goes, I'll just pull it then some how. Don't really know how yet, I'll figure it out then.

I've NEVER seen a rotary oilpump chain break. Never. Not even one about to break.

Hey you did basically the same project I'm doing except on an S4! Hah.

What ALL did you end up having to buy? (Intake/exhaust gaskets?, engine internals for the rebuild, etc etc)

I'm ordering all the parts I need on Monday hopefully... well... assuming I can get the bolt off... ugh... I have an air impact wrench and an electric, but I'm having doubts either will work. ;P

Engine overhaul kit (gaskets, orings, water seals, etc), viton oil control rings, RA apex seals/springs, side seal springs, FD corner seal springs, corner seal plugs, front and rear main seals, some tools, hylomar, RTV black, petrolium jelly... I think that's it
