engine swap

i was wondering if there are any restrictions or problems involved in swapping a turbo engine and manual trans., imported from japan, into my non turbo, automatic '89 rx7 gxl. any feedback would be appreciated.

nope , they are the same i think , just the ecu , for the trans im not sure

You won't be able to use the JDM ECU or JDM harness. The tranny and engines will fit just fine. First thing though... TEST THE COMPRESSION!

Oh, you'll need some extra things for the automatic to manual swap though.
