Easy - 1986 - 1988 non-turbo
Slightly harder - 1989 - 1991 non-turbo
If you're into pain - ANYTHING that uses a "13B"

real bad general advise, an S5 will fit but not an easy swap. Fit yes, easy to do, not for the inexperienced.
