Ok heres the thing i got a 90 fc the problem i got is the engine!!!! Sometimes the car starts so good and sometimes it starts like ****. when i bought it it came with a fuel switch on it which you have to turn on and off when you start and shut off the car i have done lots of things to try to get it to start good all the time i have switch the spark plugs mult times charged the battery and bought like 3 new ones cause i kill it trying to start it sometimes also i have filled the coolant, oil, and clean out the gas tank with injector cleaners im lost here can anyone help me with this prob????????????

 

Start with a basic compression check. Get a reading of where the internals are.

 

Like how would i do a compression check? cause i am new to the rotary engine. But i love it but my car is kinda giving me hell right now. Im getting a stage 3 13b street ported engine and trans swap as soon as i get the 3400$ but for now i need my car to run so i can get to work you know what i mean. but let me know how i could do the basic compression test

 

Yeah, you should get a compression check done. Does the crappy starting have anything to do with ouside conditions like weather? My car hates cold weather. Also, are the injectors ok? As far as I know, most fuel injecot cleaners do next to nothing. There have been several threads devoted to that subject. I dont know whether the injectors would cause it to have problems like that, though.

 

ok maybe you might know about this the car trys to start when i turn the switch on but it sound like it is gonna start then it just goes out then sounds like its gonna start then goes out
but some times it will start so damn good its like wtf is happin anyways how would i do a compression test?
