engine stalls..........

hey everyone, i got an 86 rx-7 here, The Question is Y does my car seem to stall everytime i make a hard left turn? This is my third 7 i have owned the other 2 were a 90 vert and a 87 se. i know the vert never had this problem, but i don't remember if the 87 had it or not. Is this a s4 issue with the maf? i have a custom cold air intake but the problem was there before that when it was stock. If anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix it please post...... it's annoying me.......

ya i used to get that on an 88 GXL after a good counterclockwise (i think) drift... didn't do it clockwise tho... Try giving it gas when you do it... as in LOTS OF GAS... That was my fix lol... its cheap too

I've heard of this, an experienced this. Let me guess, this happens when you are low on gas?

i was thinking about this last nite. and yes it is when i have 1/2 a tank or less.... but it dosen't make since because the fuel pump is on the passenger side of the tank..... i would think it would do it when making a hard right not a hard left. thats y i though it was the maf. powrdby13B, i tried that, infact i do it out of pure reaction to what the car is doing but it does not help....

Thumbs up

Well, all I can say is Damn!! Huge diffrence, the car has a lot more pickup, it no longer stalls, idle is much smother too. I recomend everyone to do this. its easy and only requires about 30 mins of your time.
