Arrow ENGINE SEIZED !!!Where is the E-shaft, How can I turn it

What the **** ! I have a 90 model non turbo rx7 convertible, It's a piece of ****, It was leaking coolant and I never took care of it, all I did is refilled it with water everyday witout any coolant mixture, I know I'm a dumb ***, I unhooked the gages because I was annoied by the noise when it needed coolant.

The car is been in the sitting down for 2 months, I drove it on the freeway for 10 minutes going 65 mph knowing that it needed a little bit of coolant, when I got off the exit the car shut down when I got to the stoped sign, smoke was coming out of the hood, I don't remember what it smelle like, I didn't move it, I just put it on park and walked home, next day I tried to cranck it but it wouldn't go, it's been in my house for 2 months, yesterday I took the radiator out, the fan out, and somebody told me that I can try to move the engine, is that true, how do I do it? I need some mmo too I think .

THANKS 4 THE HELP !!!!

Its the lowest pully on the engine......19mm bolt in the center will turn it

But by the sounds of your situation you have a seized motor....

you can try to hand rotate the engine by turning the pully that the fan was attached to.
...also...why do you need mmo?

When you turn the front bolt, make sure the rachet is set to tighten, not loosen.

Where were you leaking coolant from? Radiator? Or did you have a blown coolant seal?

Don't try and drive it again, it will just be a safety hazard... get it towed to wherever it needs to go. Better to pay a hundred bucks for a flatbed to wherever you need it to be than to get into a serious pickle in the middle of a public street.

Don't worry, that guy was just talking out of his ***. Just go by what classicauto said, and make sure (like previously mentioned) that your ratchet is set to tighten, not loosen.

If you're going to use MMO (which might be a good idea, just in case it starts by some act of god), clean the spark plugs too... just make sure you correctly re-plug everything (especially the spark plug cables), a ****-up in the firing order will do a hell of a lot more damage to your engine, haha.

Good luck, stay safe.

It should freely rotate, you should hear a very audible pulse supposing you have good compression.

when you have it on 'tighten', the whole rotating assembly should move, meaning the pulley and everything else that rotates inside should move. if it doesnt move make sure you have the car in neutral. if it still doesnt move, then the engine is seized. now if it does move, remove the bottom spark plug (front first then install, then rear). make sure you hear 3 even pops as you "tighten" the bolt.

Really now? The pully that the fan is bolted onto isn't the one to turn if you want to rotate your engine???? Strange......

Also, I'm sure MMO would work wonders on fused apex seals.

Should I put MMO before I even try to turn the engine?

If the starter doesn't turn the shaft, a wrench sure the hell isn't going to do it either.

no, the fan that the pulley is connected to is the waterpump pulley. you can still turn the water pump pulley when the engine is seized.

I think maybe your engine went kaboom! Well, it you can get it to spin, check for compression before deciding what to do
