engine seized!?!

so,to make a long story short,i finally got time to finish my microtech install today.the car has been sitting since summer.
everything went great, till it came time to crank it over.i got a couple of revolutions, and no more.after a couple of hours of checking around,i came to the conclusion that the engine is seized[i think].
basically,i pulled the starter, and, with the tranny out of gear,i can't turn it over at all[at the main e-shaft pulley].
before i started,i was able to turn it no problem[wich i did, this morning,as well as several times in the last few month, allthou i never turnd it a full rotaion],and i could hear/feel it build compression as it turned.
i suppose, the problem must be that there was some carbon/rust builup, that got jammed between the seals.you guys have any ideas or suggestions?
the motor was rebuilt about 2 years ago,and has very few miles on it.
this sucks hardcore.
maybe i should try soaking it with atf?
thanks for any input
and,no,there was nothing in the intake.

Do a search on "Carbon Lock". Have not had the same problem but urge you not to try to turn it over or push start until you read up on how to try to free the carbon lock. Turning over will just make it worse. Despite the commotion over carbon lock, it seems to be a rare problem not often confirmed.

^ agreed however one thing you may want to check to make sure it is locked is just keep it in gear and try to rock it. If it is locked the belts will not move at all if it isn't locked however the belts will move.

If it has very few miles it will not be carbon lock.... Its actually a fairly rare thing.
