Engine Rebuild installed, runs great, a few minor questions

Finally got my car back the day I left for college, and she has been running fine. I have the fuel pump switch installed, without it I would never ever be able to start my car. I have the wastegate wired open and have kept the rpms under 4.5k. In the past 3 days I have put about 250 miles on it. I have noticed it getting stronger every day, which is good. Only a few minor things, like for one, sometimes the add coolant light will come on, but will turn off if I tap the gas a few times, maybe rev it up to like 3k. This usually happens atleast once or twice each time I drive, within the first 10minutes of the car being started. I doubt it really is the coolant because the temp guage stays planted at about 1/4-1/3 and its not boiling and going crazy when I check it. Also if I am making a moderate acceleration and I hit about 4k rpms sometimes it will bog, and the exhuast note will go from a whining humm to a real low BFFFFFFFFFFFFF until I let off the gas. Anyway, any replies would be appreciated. Although Im about to goto class and wont be able to read this untill tonight.

well for the coolant, you probably have some air bubbles in your system.

Yeah, after installing a fresh engine, it takes a while for all the small air bubbles to work their way to the top.

In the morning when the car is cold, open the radiator cap and top it off - you should only need to add just a little coolant. That should do it.
