Engine rebuild

The engine in my car was rebuilt 25k miles ago.

I am losing coolant, but I am not sure if it is in the motor. The only time the motor has smoke coming out is a light white very light, and only when it is really cold out.

I think I am losing coolant somewhere else, probably the thermostat housing, it looks like some is leaking there.

My question is. If I am losing coolant in the engine. How much would new seals, gaskets, etc cost to build the engine? I have all new intake gaskets and fuel injector seals.

How much for all the internal stuff? Coolant seals, oil seals, etc?

If the coolant isn't leaking in the engine, how much then? Same?

I can do everything myself.

Thanks.

Thank you. I will look at them. I was wondering if I need a full kit or if I can just buy certain pieces that tend to wear quickly?

Whoa!
Calm down before you go off rebuilding your engine.
Most likely you have a leak somewhere, like you said.
Check the bottom of the water pump. There is a weep hole there. When the water pump heads south it will leak out of this hole. It is hard to find, only leaks enough that you slowly loose coolant.

Not going to be doing it really soon. About 2-3 months away.

I would like to go for an aggressive street port. Would this require a complete rebuild? If not, what would I need?

The next things I am doing to my car are:

Aggressive Street port
Headers
Front strut tower bar that connects to firewall from mazdatrix with engine torque brace.
Standalone system. Zeal megasquirt probably. Maybe something else. Depending on price vs. performance. Like if it would be better to spend an extra $100 or $200 to get a way better system i'll do that.

Thanks for the info about the water pump, I will look there.
