engine question

ok my friend got a mint condition fc3s turbo. very nice. anyways he didnt listen to me and he crashed his car on the street trying to drift it stock. comes down to this. the car is totaled and the onli thing that is worth anything is the engine. the onli prob is when i heard it start up i knew it didnt sound right. and it turns out that one of the rotors is F***ed and yeah im not the smartest guy on rotory engines but is there anyway to fix this besides getign a new engine. what he wanst to do is swap the rotors out with the n/a fc enigne. would that work or is there anywya to fix this thank u so much for your time.

p.s. sorri for my typing im in a hurry so alot of it is typed weird.

how can you tell he dropped a rotor?

it is possible he damaged the engine in the crash but unless he overheated it somehow or shoved something through the side of the engine in the crash i don't see why the engine would drop dead as well.

to answer the main question, if there is a dead rotor the engine is toast and needs to be torn down completely for inspection/overhaul.
