Help me please. my 90' vert took a digger
Allright so i was driving home the other night and my engine started acting way funny (much like a blown engine but not) I was accelerating past a car of pretty hot little hotties and wouldn't ya know it i got a huge pop when i was accelerating. i started to lose power, i still had enough to keep toolin along at a steady 55 mph but i didn't have much more than that. and after driving about a mile or 2 more the car popped again and lost even more power. and after finally inspecting the engine today i did the poor man's compression test--passed. and while i was doing that the rotor to the rear of the car's spark plugs were covered in oil. could you guys help me out and tell me maybe what happend and what i'll need to do to fix it?
Much appriciated guys, i don't feel like searching because i'm ripping the hell out of the car as we speak. so bear with me.
Thanx,
Matt

It idles very rough (when i can get it started) it can't maintain idle, if i let off the gas it dies. it revs very rough, similar to a blown engine but i allready did the woosh woosh, so i am a little stumped. I have a chilton and a haynes manual but i can't find anything in those that fits the problem. But there is quite a bit of oil in the rear rotor. any ideas what could have caused that?

It's possible your oil control ring on the rear rotor went out, basically pouring so much oil in the chambers that it can't ignite. This will however produce one hell of an impressive smoke show.
