The car should have started anyway even if the stater is bad. Go out and try to push start it again, with some buddies to help get more speed on it.

If that doesn't work,

Start checking things out: Do the unflooding procedure incase its just really flooded, then check for fuel delivery, spark, and compression.

What year and model RX-7 is this anyway?

its a 89 and we tried over and over for like 30 mins roll starting it... doesn't work... called a macanic and he said the engine is blown but he didn't really know much about rotery moters so i dont trust him.. and its definatly not flooded. i wanna know b/c actually the car is a buds of mine and i wanna take it as a project car. he doesn't drive it b/c of the problem and he hasn't taken it to a mechanic. i hope its cheap to fix so i can get to start on my potental monster muh hah hah haa .. (sorry evil moment)

While you're at it, put new spark plugs in.

you can pretty much pour fuel down the intake man. and then push start it and it will start.
