Question Engine Plugs????

Can the stock engine harness plugs be bought new. Or are these Mazda specific plugs that they manufactured?

that's a very good question!

i also need some plugs for the standalone harness

but there are some aftermarket wiring harnesses like the one from the PFC, also rx7com sells such a harness... so there must be a source for this plugs

you have to buy the wiring harness seperate and complete I believe for any of the wiring harness plugs... mazda doesn't sell them individual from my experience.

but I could be wrong

Their is a Factory Parts Bulletin out (old) that lists the part numbers for specific plugs. I'll have to see if I can find my copy

I don't think Mazda would have manufactured theses plugs themselves. I would think another company did. banzaitoyota, keep me update.

Thanks

Many of the connectors are made by Molex. http://www.waytekwire.com sells replacements and can usually source anything they don't have in their catalog. The injector connectors are available at any auto parts stores. Some connectors like the water temp sensor connector are available from Bosch. I have not found a source for the air temp sensor.

I'm actually looking for the drivers side harness that goes to the Alt, CAS, transmission, and so on. Does anyone know where to get automotive wire that has the 2 color stripes. All I can find is the solid color wire. I'm trying to keep with the stock color code.

Waytek Wire can supply you with wire of any colour (or even have your own colour scheme/logo printed).
