Engine is out

Well I pulled the engine out of "Brenda Sue" today. The instructions I down loaded were great I think Southcart posted them. Thanks dude ! Now I need to decide what to do next, I know I can't do the rebuild by myself.(Hint Hint) I think Ill contact Kevin at rotary resarection. Once again, after I got done I took a ride in "Tiffany". Mission half way there . I took pics but cant post them. Me= dumdass.

Sounds like a tough day! Ill bet you enjoyed a few Coors light after that. You probably wont be able to do the rebuild by yourself, but Ill help you if you want me to.

I didnt want to be the only post without any replies!!

Removing a N/A engine is cake. I pulled the engine out of my wrecked GXL in about 3 hours. It helps that instead of routing the harness through the firewall, I cut it instead. I also enlisted the help of my brother, a length of rope and a metal pipe to lift the engine out onto my patio.

Too bad the engine had shitty compression...parts of it are now decorating my bedroom.

Not quite, but it's not exactly a PITA either. There's simply a few more cables and lines to detach. The engine in my TII has been sitting there, ready to pull for about 3 months now. I just want the money to buy the new engine before I pull the old one.
