Engine Light on... I already know what is it.
Type of rx7 - 1990 vert rx7
Ok, I sorta need some advice or suggestion.
I have engine light on and it blinks 9 times and from banzi website it says water therm sender. I checked the wire and connector it looks good and tested for ohms. And sender's plug was messed up and already replaced it.
So, yesterday my friend and i were trying to figure out whats the problem with it. Then my friend's dad spinned the clutch fun and it was pretty loose. So, would water pump cause this?
Help me out please...

Like satch said, it lies in the sensor or the plug. Test at the ECU pins too and make sure signal is getting to the ECU.
The clutch fan is supposed to spin rather freely unless it gets hot.

I think I misunderstood your post. I thought you were saying the sensor plug was coming loose based on the movement of the water pump internals.
At the ECU measure the voltage output of the water thermosensor w/key to on and on a cold engine it should read 2 to 3 volts and when the engine is idling the voltage drops to about .5 volts when fully warmed up.
