Engine hesitation

3800 rpm.
I have read a lot of posts about this problem, and what I come away with is that it is more than likely either a grounding issue, or the boost sensor. If I unplug the boost sensor and have no change does this mean it is the grounding/ or that the sensor is bad. I was wondering if the sensor is disconnected does it throw a code to the ecu to limit boost pressure (saftey boost) If so shouldnt I notice a difference between plugged in and not plugged in even if it is the grounding causing the issue? The grounds appear to be good. any advice will be much appreciated.
THANKS

No, the ECU will allow you to boost freely, although I wouldnt do it. Just do it long enough to see if the hesitation is gone or still present.
