Engine Help
My 1991 RX-7 NA has not been starting very easily lately. I live up in Wisconsin and it's getting pretty cold. Today it was 32 degrees. When I started my engine, it idled roughly and when I would depress the clutch, the engine would stall. There would also be very little power when driving. Does anybody have an idea as to what's wrong with it? Does the cold weather have anything to do with it?

first rule of rotary: what is your compression? we need more details: Miles, last tune-up? injector cleaning?etc. The more info you provide, the more detailed response we can provide

How do you find out the compression? I'm not a real expert. The car has 83000 miles on it. I bought it with 79000 and had it check out by a Mazda repair shop and everything was running fine. I just had the oil change so I know that's not a problem. Other than that, I'm not sure.

I assume you are giving some throttle. Does it perk up when warm?
