Engine glamore.

So, I am going to be putting an S5 intake on my car with the electronic VDI stuff. My question was, if I want to get rid of the old look of the engine, what would be the best paint to use?

Also, can I paint the fuel rails with hi-temp paint and have no adverse effects? I plan on mostly using simple green on all the parts and then rinsing them really good and letting them dry for a week or two because I am still waiting for other electronic stuff. But some parts even cleaned look worn. So, I am not looking for really bright colors or anything. I was thinking of painting the fuel rails a flat black or semi-flat black. TB and all that looks pretty clean, but the LIM is super dirty, and haven't seen the IIM or UIM w/ VDI.

Just curious to know if there is a good paint to use that tends to chip less, or looks a little better.

I don't have a sandblaster, or anywhere near here that will do it, so it will mostly be sanding by hand what I can, and then painting.

Thanks guys.
