engine failure during left hand turn

Exclamation engine failure during left hand turn

when i turn hard to the left and i am powering at about 3k rpms i get a loss of power and all my warning lights come on like i stalled but after a few seconds they turn off and i get all power back. it only happens while im in 2nd gear. could this be a problem with my transmission???

check the battery cables and both ends of each connection, then check the alternator wiring for chafing, broken wires or loose contacts or corrosion, lastly check the ignition switch. if it's none of those then it is somewhere in the harness likely and the nightmare begins.

Common problem. Fuel starvaton during hard left turns. The fuel pump inlet filter is varnished over or clogged with dirt etc. Either buy a new one or put the filter in some acetone overnight and blow it out with a air hose.

Please read the FAQ for FC sticky thread before posting. It has many of the commonly asked questions, such as the one that started this thread.

If you had read that thread before posting you would have found that your problem is commonly found on cars witha dirty fuel pump sock. Clean or replace the fuel pump sock.
