Exclamation ? for engine detailers

i got an 87 rex recently, N/A if it matters, but will powerwashing my engine do any damage or is it okay?

cover the coils, battery , and pretty much all the other electrical stuff ,, give yourself some distance with the sprayer , and a pre soak of degreaser couldnt hurt

naw man your okay, we pressure wash engines all day at my work, although we never donea rotary we dont cover anything and spray acid and degreaser all over everything, works good and starts right up

FWIW, I remove the alternator every time I wash it, and pull the pos batt terminal...And try not to directly spray into the backs of the connectors...
